Top 7 Things to Do - At Disney World - with tips and tricks in bold.

We have been going to Disney for the last 7 years. We try to go 2 to 3 times a year. We do this by going on the cheap as I call it. We stay at value resorts and eat minimal food in the parks. We book the vacation a year in advance and pay on it thru the year. Doesn’t make it any cheaper but easier to pay a little at a time. Also we cut out all extra expenses they the year and put it towards Disney. Spending 40 bucks less a week on eating out and coffee equals 2000 that could go towards Disney. One time we were able to grab a Sunday to Thursday trip with 2 days in the parks and a water park day for 1887.00. Disney is much more affordable than people give it credit for.

Before I start with my list I want to say four very important things I have learned about going to Disney:

  1. Make this a bonding time for you and your family.

  2. Eat only one meal out while I’m the parks. Bring breakfast food to eat. Disney meals are usually pretty big and fulfilling.

  3. If you get tired go back to the room and rest and then come back for the fireworks show.

  4. Get the Disney Visa card. You get rewards back. Use it like a debit card and pay it off every month. If you choose they have 6 months no interest on vacations right now: the cash back is a small percentage but 100 bucks is still 100 bucks. Our card usually pays for 25% of our trip every year.

Top 7 things:

  1. Explore the Parks - With four theme parks to choose from, you can spend days discovering all the magic and wonder that Disney World has to offer.

    1. Magic Kingdom - this is the biggest park and where most of the attractions are. We spend 2 days at magic kingdom each time we go. We like to eat at starlight cafe.

    2. Epcot - was a nice known as the adult park with all the eating and drinking. Now there are new rides like Guardians of the Galaxy. We spend a half day in the park and then hit Disney springs

    3. Animal Kingdom - is a nice park with a few rides. Aviator flight of the passage is a must do! We spend half a day at this park and hit Disney springs

    4. Hollywood Studios, this park has really come on strong in the last few years. Several rides that are worth their weight but our top pick is “Ride of the Resistance” follows your orders or you could go to Star Wars jail.! A great place to eat her is Docking Bay 7

  2. Meet the Characters - One of the most magical experiences at Disney World is meeting your favorite characters. From Mickey and Minnie to the princesses and superheroes, you can get up close and personal with the beloved characters of Disney. Don't forget to bring an autograph book and camera to capture the memories!

  3. Enjoy the Shows - Disney World is famous for its spectacular live shows. Whether it's the fireworks display over Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom. Seeing the fireworks at magic kingdom will make you understand the Disney magic! There is nothing quite like it. I didn’t believe it until I actually saw it! Didn’t go until I was an adult and then I was hooked.

  4. Try the Food - The top pick for our family is the quick service meals.Disney World is a food lover's paradise, with a wide range of dining options to suit any taste and budget. From quick service meals at the theme park snack stands to fine dining experiences at the resort restaurants, there are endless options to satisfy your hunger and treat your taste buds.

  5. Shop 'til You Drop - Disney World offers a variety of shopping experiences, from the souvenir stands in the parks to the boutiques and specialty shops at Disney Springs. You can find everything from Mickey ears and t-shirts to luxury handbags and designer clothing. The biggest tip I can give is give your little ones gift cards before you go and let this be their budget for stuff they want to buy. The hottest item for us is a cup of Lego bricks at the Lego store.

  • Our favorite park - Water park - Get Wet - Beat the Florida heat by cooling off at one of Disney's water parks - Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. These themed water parks offer a variety of water rides, lazy rivers, wave pools, and even private cabanas for a more luxurious experience. This is our favorite park. The park is only open from 10-7 so you can use this as a down day to relax and sleep in.

  1. Stay at a Disney Resort - make at least one resort day. Make your Disney World vacation even more magical by staying at one of the on-site resorts. With a range of options from budget-friendly to luxury, the resorts offer perks like early access to the parks, complimentary transportation, and character dining experiences. We have always stayed on property for one simple reason. You get there and you can let Disney take care of you. The budget hotels have now been redone and they are nice. You are really only going to sleep.

In conclusion, Disney World has something for everyone to enjoy, from the theme parks and shows to the food and shopping. Make sure to plan ahead and prioritize your must-do activities to make the most of your time at the happiest place on.
